Steve's Dad

I don't really know much about this guy, besides the things that Steve has told me and also what Steve's mom has told me.

His dad arrives today from Seattle and the plan is for him to come and live in Canada.

Why?

Well.. he hasn't lived here in over 5 years (that's when me and Steve started dating) and he doesn't seem to have an interest in living here:

He can't speak english
He has no friends here
His whole family is in Korea besides his wife and children
He doesn't want to work here
Didn't have the effort or the interest to retain his permanent residence to begin with

From what I was told his dad is coming because he got into trouble with the law in Korea. He ran a PC room and in the back he had an illegal gambling ring and he was caught more than once for having it.

He got arrested and Steve's mom went back a few months ago to hire a lawyer to bail him out and basically paid a hefty fee ($50,000) to wipe it all from his record.

That's what basically set the gears in motion for him to come and live in Canada, otherwise he wouldn't have come if that didn't happen. I guess because the rest of the family found out about it, but not sure about his friends.

Steve was originally going to go pick up his dad at the airport but since his mom and dad plan on lying to the CBSA about why he's coming back and his status as a permanent resident, Steve decided not to go because it'll hurt his chance in becoming a police officer in the future. So his mom and sister are going.

Its funny, they're such a secretive family, they really think people are judging them 24/7 and I can tell how it affects their relationships with friends (from what they tell people to what their conversations are about, its never personal). Steve would get mad when I keep secrets and shit from him about my family but when it comes to his, its a serious matter *rolls eyes* double standards...

I know that when his dad gets here I'm totally not going to get along with him, he's too conservative and he's as self righteous as Steve's mom and sister.

So! I'm avoiding Steve at all costs at this point, I really started thinking about where this relationship was headed when we were in Hawaii. Steve just really wants to get his family's approval before he can move on with his life, its fucked.

They're the type of family that gets what they want so I know the border agents are gonna let them through with little to no questioning, I know it. Plus, since they paid to keep his dad's record clean, he will get in and I highly highly doubt the border services will find out.

Steve's Psycho Sister

HOLY FUCK

Never in my life have I ever been talked to the way Steve's sister has to me tonight.

She just went off on me for no fucking reason like in the most disrespectful, cocky way EVER. I seriously feel like I was being talked to by a 14 year old girl.

I always gave her the benefit of the doubt whenever my friends would tell me that they think that she's a bitch (I thought well, they don't really hang out with her so they don't really know her) but they totally proved me wrong tonight.

Steve and I went to the Auto Show in Vancouver earlier (honestly the first real date we've had a in a long time) and afterwards we went out to dinner with our friends and went back to Steve's house. Steve was too tired to drop me off at my house (he worked the morning shift 7AM - 3PM) So we went back to his place.

It was a great date, we haven't been out in so long so it was nice to go out and just hang out with our friends.

Then we went to his place and we tried settle in and then his sister just starts freaking out in Korean at Steve, I got no idea wtf is going on. Then she comes into his room and looks at me and says to me in the most cocky/bitch voice I've ever heard and says to me:

"Amanda let me ask you something, like, why are you here? and Don't say its because Steve wants you here"

I'm kind of like wtf? never been a problem before so why the hell is this coming up now? and Steve does want me here so what am I supposed to say? I didn't know they had such a problem with it cause they never said anything. So I was pretty taken aback so I said "So?" LOL like wtf am I supposed to say? It totally caught me off guard.

They're all pissed off that I come over to hang out/sleep with Steve and I don't pay their fucking rent and that I don't say Hi to his mom or sister when I come over (I'll say Hi if they're not sleeping or not doing something so wtf) Anyway here is how the conversation went:

Sister: Amanda let me ask you something, like, why are you here? And don't say its because Steve wants you here

Me: So?

Sister: Don't just say so, why are you here? you're here like every day --> (I'm not though lol)

Me: Does that really matter?

Sister: Yes it does, You come here and do nothing

Me: Well when Steve needs help I come over to help him

Sister: Well that's great you're a good girlfriend but that doesn't explain why you're here and by the way I'd appreciate it if you would stop calling my dog, dog, she has a name, its Monet.

Me: She's a freaking dog! (lol IS THIS REALLY THE ISSUE? - She doesn't even take care of the dog, she only puts food in the damn bowl and doesn't even walk her or anything. Hell I walk that dog more than she does)

Me: I only come here when Steve wants me to help him with something

Sister: Well it'd be nice if you would come in and say hi to me or my mom, its his mother have some respect.

Me: I don't want to interrupt you guys when you're doing something

Sister: Don't you have any manners? (Hypocrite)

Me: I do, obviously you're the one that doesn't have any

Then I got really pissed off when she started saying that I have no manners when she's the one that came into his room and just started saying it the way she did. Had she actually came in with a polite tone and was just like "hey just to let you know, we'd appreciate it if you would stay home more often" instead of going the route that she went, I would've been more understanding.

Fucking hell anyway, I ended up calling her a bitch and a cunt LOL but she was definitely acting like one so yeah.

So! His sister - I've never really written a full on long post on her. So let's talk about it:

His sister went to McGill University in Montreal and when I told my friend a long time ago when I first started dating Steve about him he asked me if his sister was Lucifer (name changed, but its actually close to her real name lol) I said yes, he said "oh I don't like her, I used to tutor them in english when they first came to Canada and she was a bitch" I thought to myself well she was like 10 or something when they met and its been like 8/9 years, people can change within that time but boy did he prove me wrong!

Fast forward to now, Obviously things didn't change and she didn't mature. She speaks in the most condescending way, a lot even to waitresses and my friends. I'm actually surprised she has a boyfriend (not surprised she doesn't have many friends) but then again she's only using him to get expensive gifts, when I asked her if she thinks they'll get married she said no. So I was kind of like why string him along then? Just cause you want expensive gifts? Cut him loose so he can go and find a nice girl he can go and settle down with. I really don't get where she gets this cocky/arrogant attitude from (probably his mom)

I hung out with Steve and two of my friends at the Lonsdale Quay once and she wanted to be driven home, so she came to meet us there and the moment she came and started talking they hated her LOL cause she was so arrogant and rude. If her home life translated to her work life she would be fired so fast, unless her boss is a douche too lol.

Anyway she's one of those self entitled princess types, whatever she wants she basically gets, she's always been daddy's girl. Whenever she posts things on Instagram its always prissy things and she doesn't really live well within her means, spends money on useless crap just so she can look rich. I really hope she gets some bad karma for being the way she is.

Its funny how people think that if they go to church it makes them a good person and therefore they can treat everyone else like crap.

Well I asked Steve to drop me off cause I didn't want to deal with that bullshit but then later on he came to pick me up so we could talk. We went to Mcdonalds and asked me what my expectations were from his family, honestly? I don't have any lol I don't expect them to do anything for me but of course they have expectations from me.

What are my expectations in a relationship though? I don't really care for family economics to me marriage isn't "the joining of 2 families" as Steve's mom thinks it is. To me its the joining of two life partners who want to be happy and want to experience life together. In his family they really emphasize old fashion ideals above love and happiness.

So where is this relationship going? Well, we'll just have to see tomorrow shall we?

Desperation

Its been a while since I talked about Steve's family, I think... lol I haven't really read my blog posts in a while.

Round 1

The past few months especially have been the weirdest. Steve's mom wanted to buy a house a few months ago, she freaked out because she thinks that its the only time she can get a house so she's been desperate trying to buy one in North Van.

When she was told that she can't get one because she doesn't make enough income she asked Steve's sister and him to be co-signers for the mortgage, it still wasn't enough and it didn't get approved.

So since it wasn't approved she is forcing them to move out of their current apartment, why? We don't really know why LOL we were like yeah you couldn't get a house - but it doesn't mean you have to move... its kind of illogical and an inconvenience for everyone that you live with.

They should really stop letting his mom make decisions for their family. She's too impulsive and she doesn't really think ahead about how it affects other people.

I'm kind of worried about Steve co-signing a mortgage with his mom and sister (I'm not the only one) because I kinda had a goal to get a place for us within like 5 years (like a townhouse or an apartment) but him co-signing a 15 year mortgage with 2 other people would be difficult for us to get a place one day.

Round 2

We thought since they didn't get approved his mom would stop looking at houses and actually look for a place to rent but nope!

The house they went to look at most recently is actually near my house and its a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom place and its a fixer upper (unfinished basement, roof needs replacing, flooring needs to be replaced), they want to renovate it and then sell it within 2 years.

They went and put an offer on that house and its about $679,000 for the house and the offer they put it was about $630,000? something like that and the owner of the house is refusing the offer because I guess they think the house is worth more? (its not lol) so they said $670,000 take it or leave it.

Final Round

So here is where it gets fucked up for me and my family. Instead of looking for a place to move into next month they were just looking at houses, why? Priorities? lol its like yeah you can put an offer on a house but you won't always be able to move into it right away. So Steve's mom wants to come back and live at our house (for 2-3 months) and the only person she asked was my mom. She didn't ask what me or my dad wants and the thing is our mom doesn't make household decisions like that.

Of course she would ask my mom because they get along and she knew my mom would say yes. I told Steve that NO WAY that I will let that happen it was just absolute hell when she lived here, the suite they used to live in isn't even available for them to rent so the only option is the tiny little room near the garage and it really isn't big enough for 2 people and a dog.

So I talked to Steve about how its definitely not going to work, I explained to him how last time his mom lived here the utility bills were so high and I said it wouldn't matter if she paid for it this time around because she's just too loud and inconsiderate and then adding his sister and the dog? its just not going to work. It'll work out for her but it'll stress the shit out of everyone else in the house.

I go on practicum soon and I don't want to be woken up at 5AM because she decided to call someone in Korea and put them on speaker phone so everyone can hear or us hearing her argue with his sister or Steve. Or hear Monet excessively barking.

Its just not going to work plain and simple, I explained it to him and he told his mom that it isn't going to work, her reaction? SUPER PISSED OFF she absolutely hates my dad even though I told Steve that it was mostly my decision. But you know, she should have said something months ago instead of last minute like she always does.

At the end of the day its like if she's making all these decisions for her family, why is it that she has to drag my family into it? I mean its not like me and Steve are fully committed (no ring on ma finger! lol) I'd probably be a little more ok with it if that were the case (probably not though LOL) and if our roles were reversed his mom would not help us in any way.

Plus it'd be beneficial for Steve to live away from his mom and sister. I don't know why they are so dependent on him... laziness? Probably.

At this point his mom is on her own agenda and because we're not doing what she wants, she's super pissed off and its time she deals with her problems like an adult. 

*UPDATE BONUS ROUND*

I knew Steve would pussy out about living in our house. His mom won't let him move out for the next 2-5 years because he has to help pay for the mortgage because they finally got a place in North Van (its a town house in East North Van)

All his friends are even like "WTF why are you getting a mortgage with your mom? Don't get one!" his answer? "I have no choice" ... REALLY! YOU CAN SAY NO, fucking idiot! he's too scared of his mom.

So if we got married and etc, then its really up to me to deal with the big expenses (like buying a property, etc) but he won't be allowed to live with me unless he is contributing to mortgage/rent cause wtf, really!

Short story time!

I wanted to write this out while it is still fresh in my mind

Well its not really a story as it is just some stupid shit that really pissed me off lol

Last night I spent the night at Steve's place and his mom was at work and his sister was out having dinner with her friends.

Steve's sister took his mom's car cause she didn't want to bus home and she asked Steve to pick up their mom from work, he said no cause he has to work early in the morning (leaves at 6AM gets up at 5AM to get ready for work) and she gets off at like 11PM so he wanted some extra sleep. Plus his sister works in the morning too (by 9AM) so he figured by 11PM she'd be heading home. So she said fine I'll pick her up.

When his mom came home she was all super pissed off, she freaked the fuck out at him because his sister had to leave her friends to pick her up and then go back. She was like going opening and slamming drawers and doors, kept swearing and yelling about how he was selfish and only thought about himself and that he doesn't give a shit about the family.

I was like WHAT THE HELL, he does nothing but do shit FOR the family, your daughter DOES NOTHING!!! She only cares if his sister has a good time and looks good in front of her friends but doesn't give a shit about making him do everything and add on more stress.

I was like WTF, so your daughter parties with her friends and takes no responsibility to pick you up with YOUR car and you freak out at your son for not picking you up cause you wanted your daughter to have a good time with her friends... *slow claps*

That really pissed me off, its his sisters problem, shouldn't be his like wtf, if his mom had such a big ass problem with it she should have said something earlier, making it a huge problem is fucking stupid.

One day we get back from our trip from the states and she's already being extremely selfish

May Updates 2014

So far worst month of the year lol.

I was supposed to visit Ashley earlier in the month but my stupid credit card got compromised (yay..) so I couldn't go and I was so pissed off! its been already a week and my fucking credit card hasn't come in the mail yet. So embarrassing trying to buy something with your credit card and getting it declined lol.

Then! I got my period late by like a week and I was freaking out lol, I think it was late because I went off the pill but when I was on the pill before my periods weren't irregular so.. wtf lol.

Steve dropped his Samsung Galaxy S4 and it broke for the second time in 6 months AND he had one of those shock absorbent phone cases that's supposed to help soften the fall or whatever and it did not work at all and it was like a 2-3 foot drop. So now he has to blow like $300 to fix his phone, he's never getting a Samsung phone ever again since it is the second time and honestly, you would think that a $700 phone would be able to endure a 2-3 foot drop without the screen shattering.. Iphones are more sturdy from our experience lol.

We went to the states the other day just to pick up a package (doesn't take that long to just cross the border) and it pisses me off so much when people overload the shit out of their cars so crap comes flying off of them when you drive behind them.

Steve bought a new car (not sure if I mentioned it..) and this bitch had dirt and rocks in her truck and was driving on the highway when suddenly all these rocks and dirt came flying at his car (secure that shit, really! or better yet clean it out!) it chipped his windshield (in 3 different places) and his paint, and I highly doubt ICBC will do shit about it because they don't care, I took a picture of the truck and wrote down their license plate. Steve was obviously super pissed about it because well ITS A NEW FUCKING CAR, he's had it for less than a month! I bet they'll say "its an act of god" or whatever and its not the fault of the person who owned the truck... could've been prevented if they had cleaned that shit out!

Then we came home and Steve and his mom got into an argument LOL what about? Well basically she woke him up at 5:30AM because she forgot to tell her management about her keycard at work so she wanted him to write out what to say in English for her and he was pissed off about it so he told her not to wake him up like that again unless she's got something written down and she FREAKED THE FUCK OUT he told her to do it the night before or at least have something written down so he can edit it but he had to write it on the spot. It was his day off and she's had tons of ESL classes and shit like wtf! SO LAZY! She can't really use the excuse "I don't know enough English" or whatever because she's taken tons of classes and University classes in Korea and its her fault if she can't do it because she makes everyone do it for her, she needs to learn and I've told Steve multiple times to let her learn on her own but he's such a puss about doing stuff for his mom lol.

She thought he was being totally unreasonable and "kicked" him out but lets get real here, she can't live by herself, she's incapable of living by herself.

I'm getting even more and more pissed off lately at Steve, only because he's SO FUCKING LAZY, he doesn't want to go out or do anything! I waited 2 hours for him to come to the gym with me and he just put up a pissy little attitude the whole fucking time and he always tells his friends how "active" he is by hitting the gym and playing hockey which is a complete lie, only plays hockey for maybe 15 minutes? might be a 40 minute game but he's not on all the time and he's not even that good of a player anymore because physically he's not what he used to be. Maybe its a combination of stress from work and stress from his mom? Not really sure but he needs to figure out a balance or he's going to implode.

What's great is THEY'RE FINALLY MOVING OUT! The weird thing? His mom doesn't want to tell his dad that they're moving, which I find really weird. I mean its your husband and you don't want to let him know that you're moving your family into a different home? His dad just earned like a thousand respect points from me because he does so much shit for them and this is the kind of treatment he gets. I mean it won't be a big deal if you tell him if you're moving, keeping it a secret will probably be a big deal because, why keep it a secret? That's really freaking weird..

Anyways that's basically it for May, my birthday is in a few days -___-' (and I bet some how it'll be ruined) and my class starts next week, wish me luck!

What the hell?!

One of the more frustrating mornings I've had in a while... I think I wrote a past blog post in the past about how Steve and his mom are finally moving out, well.. They told me two months ago that they would be moving out at the end of March, now its April and they told me again that they'd be moving out at the end of April and NOW they're telling me they're going to be moving out at the end of May... THE HELL!!!!!!!

WTF I basically have another renter ready for next month (they know this) and then a week before the new tenant (technically she's a previous tenant) has to move in, she wants to sign a lease for 1 year, Steve tells me they can't move out till the end of next month because well his stupid mom not only took too long to find an apartment, she applied for the apartment they wanted perhaps too late, so now they might have to find a new place.

He basically told me "as soon as we get approved we'll be moving right away" they wanted to move out as soon as possible and tell us last minute.. like what the hell, in other apartment buildings you have to tell the landlord or management like a month in advance that you are moving out and you want to let us know when YOU get approved? I don't fucking think so, you had 3 months to find a place, you even flew your sister back to Vancouver to help find an apartment and now your telling us to wait another month?

You wouldn't do this to another landlord so why would you do this to your girlfriend's family?

Back Story:

Steve needed to move into our house cause well at the time he was working full time and he rented a suite that was like $1000 a month but his parents paid for it because he was basically a babysitter for their furniture LOL but they didn't want to pay for it. His wage wasn't that high so he couldn't afford to live there without his parents support.

I told my dad about his situation and one of our tenants in our smaller suite was moving out so he offered that to him FREE OF CHARGE. Steve was like oh that's great cause well he could save money and stuff. Then maybe 6 months later the tenant in the bigger suite moved out and my dad offered that to him for $700 a month cause we were renting that space out for more than that and my parents figured we wanted more privacy.

Then like a year later his mom decides she wants to abandon his dad and come live in Canada for some reason... and since she's lived here its been chaotic. She does whatever the hell she wants whenever she wants and doesn't even care who its disrupting.

So why are they moving? They say its cause when his sister comes back from Montreal they'll need a bigger place which is partially the reason why. The other reason is because apparently its too embarrassing to live at our house, I even talked about this with his friend who told me its some sort of "pride bullshit" <-- his words not mine lol. He says that she's too embarrassed to tell her friends that she rents the basement suite of his girlfriends house so she's been hiding it for like 2 years.

So yeah now that she's working she wants to move out.

So now I have to email the girl back and basically be like well you can't move in till June now cause these assholes can't get their shit together and want to take advantage of my parents.

I seriously am babysitting them, ever since Steve basically moved in here, we should have raised the rent on them when his stupid ass mom decided she wanted to become Canadian and abandon his dad in Korea.

Frankly I can't wait till they move out, they're probably one of the worst tenants we've ever had and we've had fucking drug dealers live in our house LOL but at least they dealt with their affairs quietly and didn't have to drag my parents into their mess and didn't inconvenience them.

Boys and girls this is why you never rent to your boyfriend who has an idiot mom because:

-They paid rent late nearly EVERY month, the longest that they went without paying rent was 2 weeks and I had to remind them like every day

-They brought Monet into the house and didn't even bother asking my parents about her and didn't pay a pet deposit because according to his mom "your mom loves dogs so its ok" <-- NO FUCK YOU, ITS NOT YOUR HOUSE!

-Monet was not house trained or anything (constant barking, peeing and shitting everywhere in the suite)

-Loud as fuck every day, my dad can hear them all the way upstairs on the other side of the house (we have an odd long house)

-They basically destroyed the kitchen sink

So now we might basically lose a tenant for a year, a really nice tenant who's quiet for these idiots who can't figure their shit out.

At some point they wanted me to look at the application for they had to fill out for the apartment and BOY DID THEY LIE OR WHAT! LOL they didn't even bother putting my parents or my information down for the current landlord in case they need references and they wonder why the apartment management company won't call them back, its like well you gave them a shitty application and now your harassing them on the phone, would you rent a suite out to you?

This morning I had to fucking push them to find a new place cause you know what? They were supposed to move out TWO MONTHS AGO why should I constantly put a better tenant on hold so the shitty one can stay longer? I don't want to babysit them anymore..

Why do I have such bad Karma?

They're Moving!

HOLY CRAP!

THE DAY HAS FINALLY COME well not exactly but its going to be happening soon, Steve and his mom are finally moving out of our house! ^____^ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wooooo!

Ever since his mom came back to Canada its been hell for all of us, she's soooo needy! She tries to play it off like she's the quietest, most understanding, least resource consuming person in the house but its total opposite of that >.<

we had the highest water/electric bill we've had in years ($600!!! wtf!) double from last year and I automatically knew that it was his fucking stupid mom because I know she uses the most water and electricity in the house. She would leave all the fucking lights on and then leave the house! wtf! and when she showers she'll leave it running while using the sink to brush her teeth or w/e, and its like wtf do that shit first then shower! She tried to blame my parents for it and I was like wtf? Its not like they're asking you to pay for it, they're just telling you to use less water and turn off the fucking lights. But she got overly offended when we told her to limit the usage of water and electricity. -___-'

Lately she has been stressing the shit out of Steve, he's grown TONS of white hairs. Its mainly her asking him to do stupid shit for her that she can easily do but she decides to be fucking lazy. This morning she got upset at him and threw his bag, backpack and tool box at the door, blocking it... why? Because he wouldn't send a fucking email to her friend LOL WTF!

Oh and its his only day off during the week since he works and goes to school (works 4 days a week and goes to school 4 days a week) So I try to let him sleep in as much as he can but she woke him up at 9AM to delete one sentence off her resume and to send an email to her friend.

I'm so fucking frustrated at her because these things she can easily fucking do for herself, and I'm pretty sure she knows how to do this shit, she's just being lazy. She should fucking learn to let him relax at least one day a week like WTF such a selfish woman she doesn't even think about her kids. I think she's one of those Asian parents who think that if you give them money/buy them stuff that means they automatically owe them something.

Ever since she "graduated" from her care aid program she's been desperately searching for an apartment to rent with Steve and his sister LOL. I put "graduated" in quotes because she didn't do ANY of her homework assignments and made us do it for her. She's been constantly harassing us all to write her a cover letter and resume and she actually flew out his sister for 3 days to write her resume and cover letter -___-' but I guess all her "hard work" finally paid off because she has an interview at the Lynn Valley retirement home, which I think she will get the job and then I will lose faith in humanity lol.

Anyways, the sooner they move out, the sooner I don't have to deal with her narcissism -__-'

Never in my life have I met someone like his mom, I even told Steve that when they leave I don't want to visit/see her for like many many years LOL. All of our friends (as well as my parents) have said that Steve is going to die young because his mom won't let him live his own life and he's going to stress out and die.

They've had a few arguments this month mainly because she doesn't want him to play video games on his down time and she wants him to study more lol (he doesn't play excessively like he did before) but it got to the point where she just won't shut up about it and she called him selfish! LOL OMG! I was like are you kidding me?! He was like WTF, he got so angry, he confronted her about her selfishness and left the house for a few hours, she wasn't even upset about it at all.

Steve hates it when we talk about his family, he really doesn't want people to think he comes from a dysfunctional family but he really does but who am I to judge? My mom's super psycho because she's got dementia and shit and my dad cares about his kids and all but he doesn't really care about how badly our mom treats us.

I want to break up with him because of his mom lol but he's a good guy in general he's just on tons of stress and I hate seeing him like this and if he moves out its just going to get worse, so good luck to him.

He's really going to need it.

Here we go again!

So we've been going back and forth about going to the states. I got the Ok from Steve on Friday about us going today and then this morning his fucking mom decides (last minute) that she wants a bunch of shit done and she's so fucking stupid she can't do it her fucking self so she has to make Steve do it. And of course the little puppet is doing what it is told and he wants to leave early to deal with his mom's stupid bullshit.

She knew full well that we are leaving today, she could have mentioned this shit yesterday, or the day before. Nope, she has to spring it up last minute because I guess her little mind processed the fact that she was going to be alone for a few days and she couldn't handle that.

I mentioned in August that his mom was getting pissed off because I wanted to visit my sister and since she wanted to go shopping in the states we might as well go for a visit, she absolutely, unequivocally knew that I won't be able to see her until December and Steve promised me that we would come down now.

Steve and I argued through text messages about why we have to come back early for the simple errands she can do herself and he told me "you won't understand because its a cultural thing" HOW IS IT A CULTURAL THING? EVEN MY KOREAN FRIENDS AT SCHOOL TOLD ME THIS IS ABNORMAL!!!!! and I understand full well your mom is incapable of doing anything beneficial for your family now, its official. Its no wonder why his fathers side of the family absolutely hates her, she contributes nothing but reaps the rewards.

She leaves to Korea on Thursday (hope she gets murdered) and the plan was to stay at Ashley's place till Wednesday morning, like fuck we literally see his mom everyday, Steve does everything for her everyday, HE DID HER FUCKING HOMEWORK FOR HER YESTERDAY! And he went to the store to get a duplicate receipt for her laptop that she lost and did her fucking banking, while she did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

How does she expect to care for geriatric patients when she can't even figure out youtube? or google?

Her view on homosexuality is absolutely horrid. She is extremely uneducated when it comes to homosexuality and sex. She said to me "Do all gay people have HIV?" "They're all mentally retarded right?" "they must have a mental condition" "does his dick not work?" "if you have anal sex you automatically get HIV right?" I was absolutely shocked when I heard these words spoken out of her mouth, she seriously flipped out when she found out Anderson Cooper was gay. When she told me all this I told Steve "your mom is absolutely ignorant when it comes to sex and homosexuality and we need to educate her" and he said to me "all Koreans think like that so whatever leave her alone" (<--WRONG!) and then she asks me to ask my homosexual friend's mom to help her get a job when she graduates, umm no fuck you, he owes you nothing especially after basically saying that he's mentally retarded.

Every week since she started school its "amanda can you edit this for me?" or "can you write this for me?" and "can you read this and tell me what it means?" and she knows that I go to school full time for ACTUAL CREDITS THAT COUNT FOR SOMETHING not for some stupid program that finishes in 4 months with a practicum that is full of people who don't speak or write english well. Grades don't matter in this class she's taking, they're passing this girl that has failed every single exam that should be getting 20% So yeah I don't think it really matters if I edit her crap or not. If I don't do it, Steve ends up doing it.

So basically its like why even go to school if your not willing to do the work? She paid Steve $100 to do her 6 page project on elder abuse and I'm guessing that she didn't learn anything about that. She's like "I got an A" on random projects we did and its like no you didn't we did lol.

Basically we're leaving a day early now, which is fine I wanted to leave on Wednesday (the more time we can spend away from her the better) but a day early is better than nothing and really its not like Steve likes his mom at all, he even told me that. They don't get along, they barely talk to each other unless she wants him to do/give her something and they pretty much have nothing in common besides the fact that they are related. But he insists that he's the son and he has to do these things because its the Korean way and my friends at school (who are Korean) counter-argued that and said that they are the eldest sons and even their mothers don't do these things.

I have a feeling plans will change again real soon, will keep this updated as things progress throughout the day.

I hope to god Karma gets her.

July Updates

Bleeeh.

So tired lately! There's been a lack of updates lately because Steve's sister has been visiting and they've been making me hang out with them "as a family" so we've been site seeing and what not -___-' lol

We went for a brief trip to Whistler (I've never actually been there before) and along the way we went offroading for like 10 minutes lol.

Steve's mom likes to pervert cam us LOL. She'll walk really slowly behind us and secretly take photos of us. I left my phone at home one night and I noticed I had 32 messages on my phone from his mom and I was like wtf? She sent me tons of stalker photos lol.

I think I mentioned before that his mom bought a 2002 Audi A4 a few months ago (which she picked mainly because its an Audi and she wanted to show off her car even though its an older model) now she wants to get a new car that will save money on gas! I'm like FUCK. OFF. SERIOUSLY.

She was only willing to spend $15,000 before and now she's doubled it to $30,000. So now if she trades in the car that she has (she paid $10,000 for it) its only worth like $4000 - 5,000 because there's major problems that the dealership didn't fix.

Why does she want to get a new car? To save money. SO SMART and she wants an SUV -___-'

WHY THE HELL DIDN'T SHE GET A BRAND NEW ONE IN THE FIRST PLACE?!

Ashley's mother in law went to the Okanagan for like a week and she left her dog here for my mom to take care of.. Since we have Steve's sister's retarded dog its been hell.

Sparty (Ashley's mother in laws dog) likes to roam around the house and since we're downstairs Monet (Steve's sister's dog) FREAKS THE FUCK OUT she keeps fucking barking ITS SO ANNOYING! Plus we punish her and stuff but she keeps doing it >.< SO FRUSTRATED! Plus he's scared of water or something because he screams (literally) when the hose is on outside or when you run a bath -___-' yep

One time someone from our neighborhood thought my mom was murdering him because he was screaming and the cops came. When they asked to see him I came out with him and they were like wtf? because he was totally fine and I asked "why are you here?" and they're like "because someone complained that you were abusing the animal and I was like "ooooh! its because he's scared of water or something" and then I turned on the hose and he freaked out lol and the police officers were like "ooooooh HAHHAA" yeah we had a good laugh.

Yaaay Steve's sister left! I'm starting to think that Steve's mom is getting depressed... the other day she said that she was going to go on a short walk and she came home four hours later drunk... we were like wtf? Where did you go? and she told us that she sat in the car drinking by herself.. and it was the day before Lucia left so we were kind of like that's weird...

Yep so not much has happened this month... As for my position on the waitlist for school I think I've moved up 3 spots for only one class -___-' wtf still pissed off. So I should start making arrangements for September since I probably won't be attending class this September (thanks school >.<)

It Has Begun

OK Steve's mom is starting to piss me off now lol.

How fucking dependent are you going to be when you have kids AND a husband!?

Ok so... Steve's mom had like a job for two weeks at a sushi restaurant as a waitress and then she quit because she said it was "too overwhelming" I get that it could be for someone who hasn't worked in like 30 years but wtf you know your financial situation and she's got nothing else going on here! Does she really think that one day of not cleaning the house will result in the apocalypse? She only worked 4 hour shifts 3 times a week!

She also expects to be a care aid which is like 100x harder than being a waitress! wtf! I have a feeling that she's going to go to school, get her certificate or whatever and then quit because it'll be too stressful for her -__-'

We went to the car dealership today because she's been pissing us off the past few weeks because she wanted Steve to find her a new car but HOLY CRAP she is so fucking picky! We found so many good options but she either didn't like the color or the mats in the car or some other stupid cosmetic reason. We test drove a 2010 Toyota Corolla S yesterday that was like BRAND NEW it looked so good, had low kilometers and like a small accident that only damaged the bumper (so nothing major) and it was priced at $14,800 (at the Mazda dealership in North Vancouver) so after tax and documentation fees and all that it was close to $17,000. The smart cookie that she is she offered $15,000 with tax included and everything. Even I knew that the manager wouldn't shave off like $2000 off of that like REALLY, they can easily sell that vehicle for the asking price! WTF

Today we went to the Toyota dealership because she wanted to take a look at some of the used cars there. Ok so she refused to buy mazda 2, mazda 3, honda civic because she didn't want to pay a lot for car maintenance and fuel and then what does she get? a fucking 2002 Audi A4.

My old manager's mom had one and something happened to the engine (the belt or something?) and then it messed up the whole engine so it was either buy a new car or get a new engine that was worth a new car, you tell me what he chose. Yet his mom was smart enough to get one, not only that maintenance on this car I expect will be expensive as well as gas.

Anyways after they buy the car she doesn't even fucking drive it! She makes Steve do it! like WTF!

Are you not getting a car for yourself? Why make your son do it? What's the point in having two vehicles if you aren't going to drive it? Are you that dependent on someone to do it for you?! Or are you just lazy?

I'm so frustrated! Such a lazy dependent woman! I blame Steve and his dad for enabling her to do all this crap!

Here's something juicy but its a theory not fact but the puzzle pieces fit, I'll just have to wait and see how this plays out.

Steve's mom apparently told him some sob story about her getting abused by her dad right before she came here. Which may or may not have happened, I know its common in Asia especially old fashioned families like his. From what I've heard he's never raised his hand at her before but there's got to be a reason for him to do it. Even so Dr. Phil always says "a man should never raise their hand to a woman, its not a fair/equal fight"

However! If there was any reason for his dad to do it and the reason why she came here, I think, was because his mom was stealing money from his dad and secretly stashing it somewhere and he found out and then she fled the country.

So apparently his dad had full access to her bank accounts previously. Because well she didn't work and she needs money to spend right? What's the point in giving her cash all the time when he can just transfer it online straight into her bank account so she can withdraw it whenever she wants. But months before she came she changed all her passwords so he couldn't get access to them to see how much she was spending he was only allowed to deposit and she cancelled her smartphone too O_O Hmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since she came here her sister has been secretly sending her money. I thought to myself "If I knew Ashley had kids and a husband I wouldn't want her to send me money because well her family should come first even if they were super wealthy" I'm thinking that her sister has access to his mom's bank account and that his mom has actually been secretly stealing money from their dad these past few months which would make sense because she keeps shit talking about him to Steve (to which Steve believes his mom of course since they have a better relationship) she said that "he's been acting strange" but It strikes me odd that she came here for no reason and now she's doing absolutely nothing... no work, no school just nothing! Take care of her son? pfft yeah right more like alienate and dictate >.<

Not only that Steve is so stupid for enabling her he thinks she's going to just work and live on her own and be independent? He needs to get real.

Blog Changes 2013

Ok so I wanted to make changes to this blog before the New Year and that totally did not happen. Now that school has started again its going to be delayed again! >.<

Plus! I haven't been able to post as much as I'd like now that Steve's mom is hanging around the house, obviously I don't want her to find out about the blog since I am (in the words of Spencer Rice) "besmirching her character" lol and he'll probably be super pissy about me writing about him too which I don't really care about, its not like I'm plastering their photos all over the blog anyways and giving out their full names.

So now whenever I am alone or get the chance to go to a coffee shop where there's wifi, I write posts. The self-righteous parent post was written when I was in a Tim Hortons with Steve while he was studying across from me lol and it took me an hour or two to write it, he didn't notice at all.

Sometimes I think Steve knows but I'm pretty sure he doesn't since he hasn't asked about it lol. Basically the only person that knows about this blog is Ashley and her husband LOL, I didn't want to tell my friends because if they read it they would know I'm talking about them lol and plus it seems some of their emotions are out of wack at the moment so I'm not sure how they would comprehend what I write.

Plus I don't think you people are actually reading the crap I write here lol. "Oh its a crap blog, don't want to read it" *presses the back button* sounds right yes? lol

I guess this year I really want to focus more on beauty/makeup brands that aren't Korean (I've been featuring them a lot) but still affordable, feature some local stores and restaurants here in Vancouver, get in shape unless I get super lazy about it which I think I will lol, post more outfits and I will obviously vent like mad here.

How To Be An Asshole 2012

LOL ok I have no idea why people have been super pissing me off for a while now, maybe because I haven't seen most of my friends in a while and I haven't been able to vent with them (or about them) plus I'm stressed because Steve hasn't cleaned or he cleaned the house really poorly lol but I've been quite on the edge O_O (his mom will say that I'm not a good girlfriend and can't take care of him or myself because I can't clean even though I haven't been home in like a month -__-' slut)

I think I'm an asshole to be honest lol maybe not I don't know.. but in my opinion I am, because I'm lazy lol. Sometimes when I have plans I forget and just take a nap without calling my friends LOL I guess that's pretty much it lol and I blog about how Steve's mom is a bitch... But lately this has been the crap that has pissed me off in the past year and I think you're a super big asshole if you do any of these things lol.

1. Invite yourself unannounced to somebody's house, eat all their food, use up as many utilities as possible, stay for as long as you want without consulting them, make a mess and then demand that everyone do what you tell them to.

• This is what Steve's mom does! LOL, when she comes she acts like the queen of the world. Because we're younger than her she expects us to bend over backwards to every demand she makes, she hates me because I don't listen to her lol. I'll dedicate a nice blog post on her soon lol.

2. Only hang out with friends that have lots of money who are really inconsiderate or ones that can drive because you don't know how to and refuse to take the bus and never hang out with your good friends.

• This has been nagging me for a while. I have a friend who I consider a good friend or did but he/she has been blowing me off for other "friends" who have a lot of money that they want to take advantage of. Otherwise if that friend had no money whatsoever then they wouldn't hang out with them at all because that person is also not a good friend. I want to warn that friend but I know he/she will just say I'm lying because I rarely hang out with them but I know that they really do want to take advantage of them because they told me they are trying to O_O why am I friends with this person!? lol they just turn into another person when we are all together! such a suck up!

3. Do whatever the fuck you want and not think about the consequences later.

• This one probably appeals to most people lol but most of you won't do it because you would probably get arrested or murdered by some random people. I've come to the conclusion (with some help) that my mom is a crazy asshole lol (ok the people who haven't actually read anything I've written before about her go read it and come back!) Anyways she just doesn't give a shit about what she does (stealing, lying, destroying, speaking, driving) because she knows she can get away with it (and has) because she tells people either she doesn't understand English at all, pretends to be super retarded or she had surgery... This is a long story which I will post about, people have told me that I should write a tv show about her lol.

4. Listen in on other people's conversations and then rudely interrupt them and then give them unwanted advice they don't want to hear and then yell at them for ignoring you.

•  There is this random creepy guy that fucking lives near my house and everytime I wait for the bus or on the bus I'll be either with my friends or on the phone and he fucking just interrupts us to try to join in on our conversations like he's our new best friend, its really annoying and he's a fucking 70 year old man. He freaks out if we tell him to go away or if we don't say anything "your parents are pieces of shit because they didn't teach you idiots any manners" yeah I freaked out at this psycho a few times and tried to call the cops and I've seen him arrested a few times and kicked off buses, skytrains and the seabus. Steve told me he's seen him in the hospital psychiatric ward a few times too lol. In general I think its a asshole-y thing to do, fuck off and listen to music nobody wants advice from a stranger unless they ask for it.

5. Wal-mart (especially North Vancouver's Wal-mart)

• This happened to me a few months ago. I have one item in my hand (a box of tampons lol) and I've been waiting in the express lane for about 10 minutes because the cashier decides to have a long conversation with her friend that is buying 3 items (there's one other person ahead of me) Another cashier turns on their light and waves me over, I point to myself and say "are you talking to me?" and he says yes. So I start heading over there when the cashier I was in the line for in the beginning freaks out at me and says "You have to wait in the line with everyone else!" and I say "oh the guy over there waved me over" and then the security guard that was standing near the door comes up to me and says "nice try" I just got so fucking angry and the cashier that waved me over said "I waved her over" he was in shock lol the other cashier says "she has to wait like everyone else" to which the guy said "she was waiting she was after this woman". I was so pissed off, I waited 10 minutes in line for two people to buy 3-5 items each but the cashier decides to have a conversation with her friend instead of doing her job and then freaks out because some other cashier waved me over.. I was so angry I just left my one item and went somewhere else to buy it, I wanted to punch that security officer in the face for coming up to me like that, but he was like 65 years old and fat so.. yeah lol. But I am never shopping there ever again.

6. Go to a bus stop and push and shove people out of the way to get on the bus first even though you just arrived before the bus did.

• HOLY SHIT lol ok, Me and Ashley were in Hawaii and we were waiting for a bus for about 30-40 minutes, there's a nice line going and everything seems to be in order and not in chaos. Then the bus comes and a random Korean family pushes everyone out of the way and says "ken-chun-ah, ken-chun ah!" they keep screaming it at each other while they were pushing and buttered EVERYONE and made it onto the bus, and I'm like no its not alright! you can do that in Korea but not here WTF!!!!!!!! everyone was so pissed off and they knew it would piss people off too, its not like they weren't going to get a seat anyways and I don't see why they think they have a right to do this! bah! why so inconsiderate!?!

 Yep I was really angry lol

7. Get your friend to pay for dinner and then order as much food as possible or order the most expensive items.

• A few times my friends have taken me out to dinner because I've bought them something or let them borrow a few dollars but I always feel guilty when they do because I feel like they don't really owe me anything. I treated a friend to dinner a few months ago because I borrowed like $20 from him because I didn't have any cash on hand. He knew full well how much I owed him and he said "instead of giving me the $20 why don't we just go out and have a small lunch and you can pay?" I said ok and we went to a restaurant we go to often and we usually order the same thing (sandwich and soup that comes to about $15 per person) but he decides that day that he wants a pitcher of hard lemonade, 3 appetizers, soup and sandwich, a dessert as well as an extra entree to take home for dinner later. I was so angry, I didn't want to say anything because he freaks out over these things WTF. I know his situation with money is not so great these days but he also knows that mine isn't either. This was the first time he ever did it and I told him a few days later that I wouldn't be doing that anymore and that from then on we'd be paying for whatever we order ourselves and that I would just give him the cash instead he says to me "if you offer to pay then you should pay instead of making up excuses for others to pay for you" I was like fuck you! didn't talk to him for a month LOL.

8. When your friend goes on vacation demand a gift or give them money to buy you something you can easily get online.

• Every time I go on vacation my friend says to me "oh what are you going to buy me?" or "I'll give you money so you can buy me X" and it always pisses me off, I'll probably buy you something anyways but you shouldn't expect it, I want to relax when I'm on vacation. When I went to Korea in the summer my friend wanted me to get him some random stuff from there and converted money before even asking me. I was pretty pissed off because not only did he not ask me first and had converted the money (therefore he assumed I would just do it), I have to go out of my way during my vacation to find the store that sells the products he wanted and sacrifice luggage space for him -__-' I mean I didn't pay $1500 to travel halfway across the world to buy you stuffed animals and stationary >.< plus he could've bought all of that stuff online for the same price.

9. Talk down to people because you are older than them but not smarter

• I'm basically applying this to how Asian culture is. Just because you are older than the person doesn't mean that you are smarter and can fucking boss them around. I mean I would think we have passed all of that stupid crap by now but no, stupid Asian pride! get over yourselves! There are tons of super smart, successful people in the world who have accomplished so much. But stupid Asian people talk/look down to them (the Asian ones) because some of them are young, wtf! like my mom for example, my friend has her own successful business that she runs and she's 23 and my mom talks to her like she's deaf or has a mental handicap, its ridiculous! I no longer bring my friends home. For some reason I can never see Asian people overcoming this because they'll just say "its how it works in China/Korea/Vietnam or wherever and its been the culture for X amount of years" and its like ok you can keep your close mindedness to yourself and not evolve like everyone else. Yes I understand its rude not to be nice to your elders but when you haven't accomplished as much as the person your doing it to has then shut the fuck up you've done nothing in your life. Housewives don't count because anybody can fucking poop out a baby and many women work and take care of the family, I find them lazy.

10. Only talk about your own problems and refuse to listen to advice

• My friend always invites me out to go have a coffee with him or dinner/lunch but whenever we go out he only talks about himself and how his life sucks and when I try to steer the conversation to something totally different he manages to turn it around on himself. I've told him a few times that he's narcissistic and sometimes conceited >.< which he just says "bitch please" I even sometimes talk about my problems and he'll just be like "oh it'll be fine, doesn't matter" and then turn the focus back on him its like SERIOUSLY? and usually he'll ask me what he should do and I try to give him advice but he just refuses to listen to it or tells me its wrong, WHY ASK IF YOU REFUSE TO LISTEN!? 

So do you do any of these things? or know anybody that does? This is definitely the tip of the iceberg probably will do another one in 2013 LOL.
