My Car - and Some Weird Things

So I mentioned in a previous post that I bought a car.

The thing is, I don't technically have a license LOL. Some of you might be like uh.. wtf?
I was planning on buying a car right away anyway after I got my license, I might as well learn to drive the one I buy plus I would feel better fucking up my own car than a loaner one from a school or from a friend.

What did I get?

a 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid

I really like it, its fully loaded and great on gas which is one of the main things I was looking for. I'm probably not gonna be driving it to many places except for like metrotown and to my sisters place every now and then. Plus the size is great for me.

You wanna know something fucked up?

After I bought the car like a month later... STEVE BOUGHT THE EXACT SAME CAR.

Ok he bought a 2016 Kia optima hybrid not a 2012 like mine but WTF WHY?!

I honestly don't get why he bought the exact same car as me, he wanted a goddamn truck!

Not only that when we were together he kept bitching about how he didn't have a car available when he needed it because he had to share it with his dad and how they needed a 4th car but instead of keeping the corolla they traded it in and bought this car... so it doesn't really make sense or ease the situation regarding having a car available at all times...

Some of my friends were like that's really strange.. and they expected him to get a Jeep or a truck instead because he's been telling them he wanted one but then he changed his mind last minute and was like "I want to save money on gas" ... I honestly know that's not the reason, he's always buying expensive things to try to impress other people, which is kind of crazy... After being together for nearly 6 years you know when somebody is lying.

He did it to impress a girl. Plus it was probably really easy to influence his parents.

I'm starting to think he's getting weirder and weirder.. its a little alarming actually, but its not my problem anymore.

Rant over, here's some car stuff I bought LOL.

 Terrible air fresheners

I honestly didn't know that the face shop made these car perfumed sticks. It smelled nice yeah but it barely worked and lasted like 2 weeks until it died. I went out and got a bath and body works one, its alright but I'm not a huge fan of the scents.

Deodorizing charcoal bag and Seat belt protector

I'm always paranoid that if I got into a car accident that involved speed my head would get chopped off because of the seatbelt, so I got those Kia seat belt covers.

The charcoal bag supposedly absorbs moisture and bacteria? I left it in my car and I'm really not sure if it does anything or not lol but it had good reviews so I'll leave it for now lol.

Short story time!

Late Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope you all had a good holiday and have fun partying tomorrow on new years eve!

I wanted to write this out while it is still fresh in my mind

Well its not really a story as it is just some stupid shit that really pissed me off lol

Last night I spent the night at Steve's place and his mom was at work and his sister was out having dinner with her friends.

Steve's sister took his mom's car cause she didn't want to bus home and she asked Steve to pick up their mom from work, he said no cause he has to work early in the morning (leaves at 6AM gets up at 5AM to get ready for work) and she gets off at like 11PM so he wanted some extra sleep. Plus his sister works in the morning too (by 9AM) so he figured by 11PM she'd be heading home. So she said fine I'll pick her up.

When his mom came home she was all super pissed off, she freaked the fuck out at him because his sister had to leave her friends to pick her up and then go back. She was like going opening and slamming drawers and doors, kept swearing and yelling about how he was selfish and only thought about himself and that he doesn't give a shit about the family.

I was like WHAT THE HELL, he does nothing but do shit FOR the family, your daughter DOES NOTHING!!! She only cares if his sister has a good time and looks good in front of her friends but doesn't give a shit about making him do everything and add on more stress.

I was like WTF, so your daughter parties with her friends and takes no responsibility to pick you up with YOUR car and you freak out at your son for not picking you up cause you wanted your daughter to have a good time with her friends... *slow claps*

That really pissed me off, its his sisters problem, shouldn't be his like wtf, if his mom had such a big ass problem with it she should have said something earlier, making it a huge problem is fucking stupid.

One day we get back from our trip from the states and she's already being extremely selfish

Rude Neighbours

We're probably not the best neighbours in terms of how the house looks and monet's barking lol but I'm guessing most of the people in our neighbourhood know that my mom has some sort of mental illness that's why she hoards shit and does weird things to the house.

Earlier today we took monet out for a walk and while we were walking this random white lady was riding her bike a head of us and when her friend came down the street they stopped and she said "hey look" and pointed at us and started snickering, I turned to Steve and was like wtf? he's like "i don't know.." and when they were riding off (cowards, cause they can't hold a normal conversation) they started yelling at us about some fucking statue that went missing off their property.

Here's what happened previously:

My mom went over to their place and wanted to buy some statue and they said no. So then randomly one day that neighbour comes to the house and knocks on the door and says to my mom who pokes her head out the window "were you the one that wanted to buy my statue?" my mom "oh yeah, is it for sale?" she said "no someone fucking stole my statue and you wanted it and if you stole it I'm going to call the fucking police and charge you! because it was really expensive" and I was like wow how rude do you have to be just ask politely like a normal person.

When she left and my dad asked my mom if she took it, she said no, I asked her later if she took it and she said no, I haven't seen this statue (I don't even know what its supposed to look like) and my dad hasn't seen it either (me and steve live on the bottom floor of the house so I'm not really aware on what's upstairs) So I can't say for sure that my mom did take it since neither my dad or me have seen it, I'm pretty sure we don't have it and if we did have it. Because of her shitty attitude I want to break it LOL, I know that's no better than being a bitch like those neighbours but here's the kicker:

They're the ones who hit monet with a truck back in the summer. They own the truck that monet got hit with (since its parked at their property all the time) the guy who hit her also said that they live in the house where these people live so I think in a way it's either karma that their stupid statue is gone. They never even came over to check up on the dog and the fucking guy that was driving the car NEVER APOLOGIZED!!!!!!! so yeah Karma.

I can't help but feel like they're going to do something stupid/dangerous like break into our house or something. There's a few things that seem weird like if that stupid statue was SO expensive then why leave it outside? Especially when Halloween was near because there's tons of weird teenagers that like breaking things in the neighbourhood and the way they handled things was super immature I mean pointing and snickering? Then yelling at people they've never seen before?

Next time I see them I'm just going to flip my lid if they're rude like that ever again.

I hold grudges lol especially to people who are super rude whom I've never met before.

If You Jump I Jump

I swear to god Steve is so easily influenced by others! I want to punch him! He'll just do about anything if other people do it too. I told him to go commit mass suicide with some cult if he's going to be like that.

Every time I say something about it he gets all pissed off and says "I'm doing it because I want to, not because other people are doing it" well its like why didn't you think about it before? You never thought of this until all your other friends decided to do it, idiot.

Reason why I'm writing this? He wants a tattoo because his "friends" (more like acquaintances he hangs out MAYBE once every few months) decided that they want to get a memorial tattoo for their friend that passed away.

I get the meaning behind it but isn't there a better way than to tattoo your body? Especially if its for someone you barely hung out with as an adult.  They're acquaintances that only hung out when they ran into each other and then now he decides to get a memorial tattoo on his body for him, its like why? I get that he was like maybe? Best friends with this guy when he was younger but I wouldn't get a tattoo for my childhood friend if they passed away because it would not really have a meaning for me now, especially now that I don't know what is happening in their lives.

I told him to just start some sort of charity to help others and he said "his family doesn't want to" I would think that would have a more significant meaning than tattooing a freaking eagle on your leg. Plus I think it would help tons of people suffering from depression and psychosis.

I told him he barely hung out with the guy so wtf. He made the excuse of everyone being busy and that's why they never hang out... and that "you don't have to be best friends to get a tattoo for each other, maybe in your eyes you do" I was like if you try hard enough you can make the time instead of making stupid excuses. Steve only works 3 days a week, I'm pretty sure he can make time for AT LEAST one meal with his friends for the 4 days he has off to catch up and have fun. Apparently finding one day to hang out in three years is too hard...

Steve never mentioned this guy until he died. In the past almost 3 years he's never hung out with this guy not even once while we were dating. He only talked to him a few times because I worked beside him and he'd come visit the store every now and then to buy something.

I told him why didn't he get a tattoo for his grandpa then? They barely talked too just like his friend so wtf? he said that his friend was more like his brother/family than his grandpa to which I call bullshit to because they never communicated with each other or hung out!

Now if it was my best friend on the other hand yeah I would totally get a tattoo because I talk to him everyday, we connect well (since high school and into adulthood) and even if we don't get to hang out we call each other, I mean its not so hard to keep in contact with your friends (phone, text, facebook! like wtf!)

So I told him "So that means for every friend that dies you have to get a tattoo since it doesn't matter if you are best friends or not" his response: "yeah if my other friends are doing it" -____-' REALLY!?!??!

SMART

I guess its his choice and his body, I honestly think he would regret it, I just wish he would get something that would be more meaningful to him than to get one because his friends are doing it and honestly he says its for the memory of his friend but they weren't really friends the past few years so I think he shouldn't get it.

What are your thoughts? Do you think that its a good idea for him to get this tattoo?

It Has Begun

OK Steve's mom is starting to piss me off now lol.

How fucking dependent are you going to be when you have kids AND a husband!?

Ok so... Steve's mom had like a job for two weeks at a sushi restaurant as a waitress and then she quit because she said it was "too overwhelming" I get that it could be for someone who hasn't worked in like 30 years but wtf you know your financial situation and she's got nothing else going on here! Does she really think that one day of not cleaning the house will result in the apocalypse? She only worked 4 hour shifts 3 times a week!

She also expects to be a care aid which is like 100x harder than being a waitress! wtf! I have a feeling that she's going to go to school, get her certificate or whatever and then quit because it'll be too stressful for her -__-'

We went to the car dealership today because she's been pissing us off the past few weeks because she wanted Steve to find her a new car but HOLY CRAP she is so fucking picky! We found so many good options but she either didn't like the color or the mats in the car or some other stupid cosmetic reason. We test drove a 2010 Toyota Corolla S yesterday that was like BRAND NEW it looked so good, had low kilometers and like a small accident that only damaged the bumper (so nothing major) and it was priced at $14,800 (at the Mazda dealership in North Vancouver) so after tax and documentation fees and all that it was close to $17,000. The smart cookie that she is she offered $15,000 with tax included and everything. Even I knew that the manager wouldn't shave off like $2000 off of that like REALLY, they can easily sell that vehicle for the asking price! WTF

Today we went to the Toyota dealership because she wanted to take a look at some of the used cars there. Ok so she refused to buy mazda 2, mazda 3, honda civic because she didn't want to pay a lot for car maintenance and fuel and then what does she get? a fucking 2002 Audi A4.

My old manager's mom had one and something happened to the engine (the belt or something?) and then it messed up the whole engine so it was either buy a new car or get a new engine that was worth a new car, you tell me what he chose. Yet his mom was smart enough to get one, not only that maintenance on this car I expect will be expensive as well as gas.

Anyways after they buy the car she doesn't even fucking drive it! She makes Steve do it! like WTF!

Are you not getting a car for yourself? Why make your son do it? What's the point in having two vehicles if you aren't going to drive it? Are you that dependent on someone to do it for you?! Or are you just lazy?

I'm so frustrated! Such a lazy dependent woman! I blame Steve and his dad for enabling her to do all this crap!

Here's something juicy but its a theory not fact but the puzzle pieces fit, I'll just have to wait and see how this plays out.

Steve's mom apparently told him some sob story about her getting abused by her dad right before she came here. Which may or may not have happened, I know its common in Asia especially old fashioned families like his. From what I've heard he's never raised his hand at her before but there's got to be a reason for him to do it. Even so Dr. Phil always says "a man should never raise their hand to a woman, its not a fair/equal fight"

However! If there was any reason for his dad to do it and the reason why she came here, I think, was because his mom was stealing money from his dad and secretly stashing it somewhere and he found out and then she fled the country.

So apparently his dad had full access to her bank accounts previously. Because well she didn't work and she needs money to spend right? What's the point in giving her cash all the time when he can just transfer it online straight into her bank account so she can withdraw it whenever she wants. But months before she came she changed all her passwords so he couldn't get access to them to see how much she was spending he was only allowed to deposit and she cancelled her smartphone too O_O Hmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since she came here her sister has been secretly sending her money. I thought to myself "If I knew Ashley had kids and a husband I wouldn't want her to send me money because well her family should come first even if they were super wealthy" I'm thinking that her sister has access to his mom's bank account and that his mom has actually been secretly stealing money from their dad these past few months which would make sense because she keeps shit talking about him to Steve (to which Steve believes his mom of course since they have a better relationship) she said that "he's been acting strange" but It strikes me odd that she came here for no reason and now she's doing absolutely nothing... no work, no school just nothing! Take care of her son? pfft yeah right more like alienate and dictate >.<

Not only that Steve is so stupid for enabling her he thinks she's going to just work and live on her own and be independent? He needs to get real.
