Laneige Firming Sleeping Pack

Post by Amanda

I bought this sleeping pack while I was in Korea in August for around $20 at the Lotte Duty Free.
I had a choice between the water sleeping pack and the firming one.
Since I know I can get the sleeping water pack on Sasa I chose the firming one.

Here's the description from the instruction paper the product came with:

Laneige firming sleeping pack takes care of your sleep line,
the potential wrinkles that are formed while you sleep.
Laneige firming sleeping pack relieves skin wrinkles and
fortifies skin barriers by preventing skin damage during
daytime. This light gel-type pack contains Sleepscent that
relieves the skin from stress; it is applied on the skin before
going to bed.

Just like all the other laneige products it comes in a nice and sturdy container. I used the pore trouble toner and emulsion before but they smashed because I knocked them over >.<

Underneath the mask there was a spatula! I wish I bought a facial mask brush when I was at Daiso in Korea! It was also nice and tightly sealed.

The directions say:
  • After cleansing in the evening, apply toner and emulsion. Apply an appropriate amount of sleeping pack on the nose tip, cheeks, forehead, and chin to feel the scent for 3 seconds.
  •  Gently spread from the center of the face toward its contours.
  • Let it stay on the skin during the night and wash it off in the morning.
  • Use the sleeping pack once or twice a week
  • For concentrated firming care, double the amount of usual application
  • This sleeping pack is also ideal for neck care.
  • Apply with the water sleeping pack alternately to appreciate the scents of both products.

Does anyone else think the directions are a bit odd? lol

I never used the water sleeping pack before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Right when I took the lid off it the consistency of the product was quite watery (maybe its mine?) it also had a nice light floral scent. Not thick at all, maybe I have to mix it more?

My Thoughts

I encourage people to use sleeping packs because when you sleep your skin does renew itself, to me these packs help quicken the process of skin cell renewal with the extra nutrients for your skin that I feel most moisturizers and serums don't have. So I do recommend using one once or twice a week regardless of the brand.

After initial use I first thought it was too sticky but I waited a bit longer to absorb into my skin. My skin does feel softer not sure if its actually firming my skin yet. Its quite light and doesn't feel like its clogging any of my pores so I do recommend this product for its softening benefits currently.

UPDATE:
So the consistency of this product has actually changed quite a lot since the last time I used it. Its no longer watery but now its more of a jelly, quite odd... and a little goes a long way. Just shake the bottle vigorously before using it.

Where can you get this product?

I'm not sure if Sasa would have it on their website or Yesstyle will have it. I am confident that ebay will have it as I have seen lots of Asian cosmetics on that site for a low price, just make sure you read the product description before purchasing and obviously you can buy it in Korea.

Don't forget to follow us! :D

Good luck!

  1. Could the firming mask be put around eye area?

    1. I personally put it all over my face so I'm sure you can put it around your eye area (its quite light) But you might also want to use another eye cream for maximum benefits :) (I'm no expert though >.<)
