Sasa Haul

Splurged just a little o.O

I haven't really spent money on an expensive product in a long long time especially for my skin, which I should take into consideration since I want to have nice skin for as long as I can manage it :P I think most people do lol.

I also wanted to take a break from Korean products since I've been using them for a while now. The Nature Republic truffle one eventually stopped working on my skin as well as the Juju cosmetics and I noticed more redness than usual.

 Kose Medicated Sekkisei Cosmetic Lotion

I considered buying the SK-II facial treatment essence but its just so damn expensive for a bottle $300+ for 11oz? (325ml) no thanks so I started looking for a product that's just as highly rated on Sasa but affordable and I found this.

This has tons of good reviews and I paid like $50 for 360ml of product O_O I also got the emulsion and the total was basically $100 so I think its a good deal for a lot of product.

Will do a review on this soon :)

 Bio-essence products!

I'm running low on the ampoule that I've been using and I've known about Bio-essence for a while now and I hear their products are pretty good so I ordered these serums when there was a deal on Sasa. I don't actually think they sell the whitening serum anymore, they have a small bottle version but not the bigger size that I ordered.

I got this for free lol

I thought I might as well give it a try since I haven't used a foam cleanser in a while and Methode Swiss has a good reputation. Maybe this will be a life changing product :P

Nature Republic: Original Power Whitening & Lineless Ampoule

I finally tried the ampoule I purchased at the Nature Republic Store in Hawaii!

I mentioned this in my Nature Republic Haul post and I have finally got around to using this product. I purchased two different ampoules but I think I'll stick to using them one at a time or should I? urgh.. I don't know... I guess I should to test them out better.

What is an ampoule? according to Merriam-webster: a hermetically sealed small bulbous glass vessel that is used to hold a solution for hypodermic injection and I thought it was just a super concentrated serum lol, I could be wrong and it could have a completely different meaning now.

I think the rubber thing at the top of the bottle makes the package smell weird >.<
It could be mine though.

Purpose: Helps to revive the skins natural health through intensive care of a pearl and caviar ampoule

How to use: After using toner, pump 2-3 drops on your fingertips. Apply to the entire face and gently pat the skin to enhance absorption.

More than enough for my face

What Do I Think Of This Product?

Besides the weird rubber smell emitting from the dropper thing (again it could be mine) the serum inside smells really good. The serum inside is quite thick and 2-3 drops is plenty for my face so the bottle will last a long time.

It also absorbs really well. So far I haven't really seen any results regarding lines but some spots on my face have gotten a bit lighter and I haven't been really using it everyday, like every other day? not for very long either like 5-10 applications but so far so good.

The bottle is nice and sturdy! all glass! I've mentioned before how impressed I am with Nature Republic products (and I guess other Korean brands too lol) Their packaging is always made well and the products are always SO AFFORDABLE!

Korea I wish to visit you again sometime this year or the next ^__^

Where Can You Get This Product?

I got it for super cheap in Hawaii ($10.90) because they had just opened and the store had a whole bunch of promotions because it just opened.

You can get it on Ebay and I thought it would be a little more expensive there but its still super affordable.

I didn't find the whitening & lineless one on amazon but they do have other available.

Sasa finally got some more Nature Republic products, they only had like 3 before >.< but now they have a bit more but they don't have any ampoules available yet.

JuJu Cosmetics Aquamoist

O.O A post about Japanese products!

I ordered these products like last year from Sasa and used them for quite a while (like 5 months) Juju is SO AFFORDABLE! I was hoping to find some Juju cosmetic products while I was in Hawaii but T_T no luck and there is a place that sells these products in Vancouver but its like seriously double the price -__-' wtf.

Aquamoist Vitamin C Toner

When I first bought this I thought it was just a moisturizing toner then when I actually got it I noticed at the bottom it said whitening lotion and was like wtf? lol.

The toner is quite watery which I like. I used a hadalabo toner before I switched to this one and I didn't like that it was thicker plus it made my skin oily. This toner I only use at night because I use the Skinfood Peach Sake line during the day so my skin is matte and not oily.

The toner isn't really scented which is nice, I hate it when you use different products and they're scented so it smells weird in the end lol. Anyways it absorbs really well, I haven't really noticed a whitening effect. It doesn't make my skin oily and it keeps my skin moisturized at night. Plus it doesn't make me break out.

I hesitantly bought this product because I wasn't blown away by the quality of the bottle that the hadalabo essence I used had but I thought I would give it a try anyways.

Right off the bat when I received this product I was surprised how well the quality of the bottle was. So much better than the hadalabo one -__-' and for the same price! lol the pump on this bottle is so much better, it doesn't drag the essence out all over the pump so I was super happy with that. Plus the bottle is glass and not plastic.

The consistency of this product is like ... semen LOL! maybe Steve is tricking me haha, but no seriously its sticky its thick lol its not scented and it absorbs really well. I use this only at night too and did notice some dark spots on my face did fade so I would buy this product again but I still want to see what is out there.

Oh.. This cleanser... lol, I bought this because I had heard good things about it and was super excited when I bought this. I've never used a foam cleanser before so I was a little skeptical in using it.

What I like about this product is the packaging, Juju does packaging really well for its affordable prices ^__^

BUT I didn't like this product lol. If you aren't using a something that will help exfoliate your skin when you cleanse then you will think it doesn't do anything which I thought lol and I'm using a silicone wash pad. It does clean well but I thought that it didn't work well for me. My skin got super oily really fast after using this too >.< so I stopped using it after a few washes.

Overall I would buy the toner and the essence again but I really want to try some other products that they also have ^__^

Where Can You Get These Products?

I bought all of these products on Sasa, I know its available here in Vancouver (specifically aberdeen mall in Richmond) but expect to pay double for what you can pay for on Sasa.

Don't forget you can get these products on Ebay but if you are planning on buying a whole bunch of stuff I would suggest buying it all from sasa because you're gonna get tons of random boxes from ebay sellers lol.

HadaLabo: Cleanser, Toner & Essence

Post by Amanda

I bought this cleanser way earlier in the year as well as their Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Acid Moist Emulsion (toner) and their Super Hyaluronic Acid Moist Essence. I had read Xiaxue's post on HadaLabo and it did intrigue me... she's a bad influence on my wallet lol but Hadalabo is quite affordable.
