Glamglow: Thirsty Mud

 GLAMGLOW

I was given this hydration treatment at Christmas and I finally got to use it today.

My skin has been so dry since I came back from Hawaii. Some days I totally forgot to put sunscreen on my face so it makes sense that my skin has dried out quite a bit and I didn't bring a good moisturizer with me on our trip.

Dry and flaky

Not sure if you can tell from the photo but my skin is so dry and flaky. I noticed some dryness when I was washing my face but after I washed/exfoliated and dried my face there were so many flakes everywhere and it just felt so dry.

Smells like Playdough lol

For the price ($21) the container is so tiny, I thought this stuff isn't going to last that long but after you use it you realize that a little goes a long way. When I rubbed this into my face it felt tingly, you really notice a difference right away (especially for me since my skin is so dry right now)

You have a few options on how to use this product, you can either put it on and then rinse it off or you can leave it on overnight to really rehydrate your skin. I decided to rinse it off but I think I'm going to try to leave it on overnight to super rehydrate my skin.

It'll probably be a while till I have to purchase this but I know this product will be great for the fall/winter season, that's for sure.

Haircare!

 SUPER SPLIT END!

As I mentioned before in a previous post, I haven't had my hair cut or trimmed in almost a year. Right now I have TONS of split ends even on certain strands there's multiple splits. I kind of just take a pair of scissors and trim them myself o.O lol which is not a good idea. But since I switched up my haircare routine the health of my hair has gotten so much better!

A year ago I was using this:

Nisim's Fast Growing Shampoo and Conditioner

I actually don't know if it works or not LOL I used it a lot but after a few months I did notice that my hair was getting really thin and I was like wtf so I stopped using it. The product is quite drying and it smells alright.. I had to use tons of product to get it to lather up, maybe my hair is messed up? I started using the Kao Essential Shampoo and Conditioner after it arrived in the mail.

I ordered four bottles off of Sasa

I actually really like this shampoo and conditioner, it smells so good. But I did notice that it wasn't moisturizing enough for my hair and by the time that happened most of the product was gone and I was way too lazy to order shampoo off of Sasa again because I didn't just want to buy fucking shampoo and spend $18 on shipping when its like $6 per bottle of shampoo >.< So I switched it up again!

I actually bought all of these

I was quite hesitant in buying this because I've never had good experiences with drugstore shampoos/conditioners because my hair would fall out o.O I bought this because it was cheap lol like $3 for a big bottle of shampoo. I was actually surprised on how well it works! it actually thickened up my hair quite a bit (I have fine hair) so I was pretty amazed after a few washes that it had the results that it did. I used it for many months until it started drying out my hair again LOL but I was also using the Biosilk silk therapy serum so it wasn't so bad.

A little goes a long way

Stupid Canada sells this for SO MUCH. This is the 5.64 fl. oz bottle and I got it for $20. Ashley gifted me the 12 fl. oz bottle (so more than double the size of this) and she told me it was $20 -___-' wtf! After I blow dry my hair I use this and only a small amount on my ends, if I put too much on I'll run it through my whole head but by tomorrow my hair will be super duper greasy >.< I only wash my hair every other day. But this makes my hair smoother, and really moisturized.

What I'm using now!

What I hate about long hair is that you use TONS OF PRODUCT. I told Ashley I wanted a more moisturizing shampoo/conditioner and she gave me these which is super awesome! They make my hair so moisturized! (for now lol) The consistency of the shampoo is kind of weird, maybe it's my bottle but its kind of gelatinous >.< lol but it lathers in my hair quite well and the conditioner makes my hair so smooth.

I've read reviews of the Organix line about how it doesn't do shit but everyone is different. This works well for me so I'm gonna continue to use it until it fucks my hair up LOL the bottles are quite small so I think I'll have to buy tons of this but I really like it a lot so far and I wanna try their hair oils, serums and sprays! They're pretty affordable too! ^__^

It's gonna be a while until I write another post because Steve's sister is visiting for the next 4-5 days >.<

JuJu Cosmetics Aquamoist

O.O A post about Japanese products!

I ordered these products like last year from Sasa and used them for quite a while (like 5 months) Juju is SO AFFORDABLE! I was hoping to find some Juju cosmetic products while I was in Hawaii but T_T no luck and there is a place that sells these products in Vancouver but its like seriously double the price -__-' wtf.

Aquamoist Vitamin C Toner

When I first bought this I thought it was just a moisturizing toner then when I actually got it I noticed at the bottom it said whitening lotion and was like wtf? lol.

The toner is quite watery which I like. I used a hadalabo toner before I switched to this one and I didn't like that it was thicker plus it made my skin oily. This toner I only use at night because I use the Skinfood Peach Sake line during the day so my skin is matte and not oily.

The toner isn't really scented which is nice, I hate it when you use different products and they're scented so it smells weird in the end lol. Anyways it absorbs really well, I haven't really noticed a whitening effect. It doesn't make my skin oily and it keeps my skin moisturized at night. Plus it doesn't make me break out.

I hesitantly bought this product because I wasn't blown away by the quality of the bottle that the hadalabo essence I used had but I thought I would give it a try anyways.

Right off the bat when I received this product I was surprised how well the quality of the bottle was. So much better than the hadalabo one -__-' and for the same price! lol the pump on this bottle is so much better, it doesn't drag the essence out all over the pump so I was super happy with that. Plus the bottle is glass and not plastic.

The consistency of this product is like ... semen LOL! maybe Steve is tricking me haha, but no seriously its sticky its thick lol its not scented and it absorbs really well. I use this only at night too and did notice some dark spots on my face did fade so I would buy this product again but I still want to see what is out there.

Oh.. This cleanser... lol, I bought this because I had heard good things about it and was super excited when I bought this. I've never used a foam cleanser before so I was a little skeptical in using it.

What I like about this product is the packaging, Juju does packaging really well for its affordable prices ^__^

BUT I didn't like this product lol. If you aren't using a something that will help exfoliate your skin when you cleanse then you will think it doesn't do anything which I thought lol and I'm using a silicone wash pad. It does clean well but I thought that it didn't work well for me. My skin got super oily really fast after using this too >.< so I stopped using it after a few washes.

Overall I would buy the toner and the essence again but I really want to try some other products that they also have ^__^

Where Can You Get These Products?

I bought all of these products on Sasa, I know its available here in Vancouver (specifically aberdeen mall in Richmond) but expect to pay double for what you can pay for on Sasa.

Don't forget you can get these products on Ebay but if you are planning on buying a whole bunch of stuff I would suggest buying it all from sasa because you're gonna get tons of random boxes from ebay sellers lol.
