Nature Republic: Original Power Whitening & Lineless Ampoule

I finally tried the ampoule I purchased at the Nature Republic Store in Hawaii!

I mentioned this in my Nature Republic Haul post and I have finally got around to using this product. I purchased two different ampoules but I think I'll stick to using them one at a time or should I? urgh.. I don't know... I guess I should to test them out better.

What is an ampoule? according to Merriam-webster: a hermetically sealed small bulbous glass vessel that is used to hold a solution for hypodermic injection and I thought it was just a super concentrated serum lol, I could be wrong and it could have a completely different meaning now.

I think the rubber thing at the top of the bottle makes the package smell weird >.<
It could be mine though.

Purpose: Helps to revive the skins natural health through intensive care of a pearl and caviar ampoule

How to use: After using toner, pump 2-3 drops on your fingertips. Apply to the entire face and gently pat the skin to enhance absorption.

More than enough for my face

What Do I Think Of This Product?

Besides the weird rubber smell emitting from the dropper thing (again it could be mine) the serum inside smells really good. The serum inside is quite thick and 2-3 drops is plenty for my face so the bottle will last a long time.

It also absorbs really well. So far I haven't really seen any results regarding lines but some spots on my face have gotten a bit lighter and I haven't been really using it everyday, like every other day? not for very long either like 5-10 applications but so far so good.

The bottle is nice and sturdy! all glass! I've mentioned before how impressed I am with Nature Republic products (and I guess other Korean brands too lol) Their packaging is always made well and the products are always SO AFFORDABLE!

Korea I wish to visit you again sometime this year or the next ^__^

Where Can You Get This Product?

I got it for super cheap in Hawaii ($10.90) because they had just opened and the store had a whole bunch of promotions because it just opened.

You can get it on Ebay and I thought it would be a little more expensive there but its still super affordable.

I didn't find the whitening & lineless one on amazon but they do have other available.

Sasa finally got some more Nature Republic products, they only had like 3 before >.< but now they have a bit more but they don't have any ampoules available yet.

Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel

Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel
(what a long name)

I bought this gel about a week or two ago off of Ebay for $9.85 US and it came in the mail pretty quick which I was super happy about :D

I've been using Skinfood's Peach sake line and I knew it would be drying for my skin. I noticed that my skin has been slightly flaky lately, especially on my cheeks and the tip of my nose. For a temporary solution I was using the L'oreal anti-shine gel which didn't really do anything lol.

Size comparison: Bath and Body works 3-wick candle
Vs
Nature Republic Aloe gel
Its HUGE

It's totally filled to the brim
It came with a plastic cover that you have to take off
so when you first open it it doesn't explode or spill everywhere lol

For like $10 you get a lot of product, if I used it just on my face alone it would probably take a few years lol. But I am also putting it on my arms and chest because my skin has been quite dry lately >.< which I gotta say is working really well.

What Do I Think Of This Product?

I would totally buy this again but I want to compare this with other aloe gels available. It has a mild scent, not too heavy not too light but its pretty distinct and it smells SO GOOD.
So I'm a pretty happy camper so far :D

Its very light

As soon as you put it on your skin you can feel the cooling/soothing effect and it absorbs wonderfully so you don't really need to use a lot. Plus I love that its so affordable!

Where Can You Get This Product?

As I said before I got this on Ebay for $9.85 US with free shipping and I didn't really explore other buying options.

I checked out Sasa and they don't have it available yet but probably soon.

Amazon has it available for $8.99 US plus about $4.40 for shipping.

I don't think I've seen this product available in local Vancouver stores, I know H-mart has some Korean skincare products available but I've only seen them sell Missha and Laneige.

One thing Nature Republic has to work on:

Their website
Specifically the english part of their website hahaha

I was trying to do a little research about the company and their products so I went to their website, maybe its my browser that couldn't load anything but as far as I know they don't have anything on the english site..

On another note I go to Hawaii soon!! WOOOOOO and THERE'S A NATURE REPUBLIC THERE!!!!!!!!!! I will probably buy SO MUCH STUFF lol. Shall I do a giveaway?? Let me know!

Etude House Green Tea Sheet Mask

This is going to be a super short post on this sheet mask

When I was in Korea I bought a whole bunch of sheet masks from Etude House for like 500 won which is like $0.50 LOL but I gave a bunch away to my friends (I'm cheap lol). It kind of pisses me off when I see 3 sheet masks for like $8 because I know how much you can get it for in Korea, so now I'm only buying My Beauty Diary masks online (I can get 10 for like $13 wtf) which is better than 3 for $8.

Anyways I prefer the My Beauty Diary ones because they're cheaper and they're much better quality than the etude house ones.
