Laneige - Light Power Essential Skin Refiner

Light one for oily skin!

I've been using this everyday for my morning skincare routine and its great! Its been a few years since I last used any Laneige product that wasn't a cleanser, I got this on Sasa for like $25? but I know that the US Targets sell them (not Canadian ones... no wonder they're closing down >.<)

Some packaging changes

The last time I used a Laneige toner and emulsion (sorry did not purchase the emulsion this time!) the bottles were made out of glass, not plastic. One of the reasons why I didn't repurchase the one I had before was because I actually dropped my glass toner on the floor and it smashed everywhere and there was like tons of toner left in it >.< so I wasted like $30 and I was worried that it would happen again. So I'm glad they changed the bottle to a plastic one but the packaging does seem a little cheap compared to before.

What I like about it: It makes my skin feel nice and moisturized after applying, It feels really light on the skin and absorbs really well and makes your skin nice and soft. It also has a good reasonable price and you can find it easily online (like at Sasa) or if you live in the US you can head to your local Target and pick it up.

What I don't like about it: The scent of the product I find a bit too overwhelming it smells good, but I feel like sometimes it has too much perfume in it. I'm not a huge fan of the new plastic bottle change but its not that big of a deal.

I'm wondering what the packaging is like for the emulsion is it exactly like the toner? I hope there's a pump. I love Laneige products, and I'm totally gonna order more!

I hope some of you give this product a shot, its pretty affordable and its a great quality product :)

Sally Hansen: Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color

Time for Spring time colors!

I bought these nail polishes back in November on Black Friday for like $2.64 (current price $2.49) from Target. I've gotten $2 nail polishes from Daiso before and they were really un-pigmented and you had to put on a few coats to actually see the color properly -__-' so I was pretty hesitant on buying these.

I had my doubts with Sally Hansen nail polishes because I see tons of beauty gurus on youtube raving about O.P.I nail polishes so I was like these are going to suck butt >.< but to my surprise these are actually really good! Plus SUPER AFFORDABLE!!!

I have to warn you all now, I SUPER SUCK at painting my nails lol, I have shaky unsteady hands so I always fuck them up lol, but I just grab a cotton swab and dab it in some nail polish remover and voila! semi-normal! lol

I usually put on two coats but one will definitely do and it does take some time to dry (at least for me) I always forget to wait for them to dry so I end up knocking things and denting them o_O but I definitely want to get more of these! But I'm going to use up what I have before I purchase new ones because I don't want them to get messed up plus I bought a whole bunch from The Face Shop and Nature Republic I haven't tried yet.

Where Can You Get This Product?

As I mentioned in the Black Friday Haul post I got these at Target but you can get them at any local drugstore with a beauty section really.

In Canada they have them at Shoppers Drug Mart, London Drugs, Pharmaprix (for those of you in Montreal) its $3.50 here or something. (Target is opening in Canada soon! but I don't expect US prices so I'm still going to buy from the US stores lol)

I'm not sure if they have Sally Hansen products abroad I think they do... somebody let me know!

Revlon: Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

Oooh Finally talking about these!

I bought the lipstains back in November from Target (for $8.39) and I'm finally getting around to writing this damn post! o.O lol I guess this was my first time in many years having colored lips. I remember a few months ago I saw a youtube video of Taiwanese girls with make up on and then it showed what they looked like without it on and its like WTF!!

I showed Steve and he told me "I'm glad you don't wear makeup because its a scam" lol and then he changed his mind and was like "You would probably look really good with makeup on! you should try it" I was like ... what the hell lol.

Small steps people... small steps...

Romantic

I really like this color. I don't know if its just the ones that I bought but they have a weird minty smell to them lol and they taste a little minty too lol.

Man I need a new camera... But I think you can see how red it is.
I would buy this one but I want to try real Lipsticks! o..O

Generally I like either dark lips or something neutral. The pink one doesn't really work for me, this one isn't really pigmented that much so its barely pink and I have to put lots on for it to look pink lol.

I think Ashley bought the Precious color one and when I tried it, it didn't do anything lol.

 Don't forget this isn't a real lipstick so it isn't highly pigmented.

Rendezvous

If you have dry/cracked lips I would suggest putting on a moisturizing chapstick or something and then put it on top because if you don't, people can see lines when you put the color on top but don't put on too much chapstick cause your lips will look gooey LOL.

 I seriously need a new camera LOL.

Steve's sister left not that long ago so now I can blog freeeely! and not at coffee shops LOL. Steve's mom finally leaves on the 13th :D :D :D OMG I CAN'T WAIT lol. But... she's coming back like in a few months NOO WTF lol to do some classes.

Anyways I think the only one I would buy is the Romantic color one but I think I'll move on to real lipsticks lol. Time to invest! This is a good first step for girls starting to wear makeup because its affordable plus its not very flashy if you know what I mean so its more like a more pigmented chapstick.

Black Friday Haul

By now I bet tons of you have seen a billion posts on black friday, here's mine. I didn't really buy much clothes this past Black Friday, The stores I went to were so packed I didn't really want to try on clothes which I regret because I bought a top that doesn't fit >.<

I did go crazy at Target though but most of it is stuff I need to replace at home.

Lets get this started:

Finally got some Nail Polish :D

 I need to get a new hair dryer because when Steve moves out 

he has to take it because its his mom's O_O

But I got a waaaaaaay better one, I wanted an Ionic one so it reduces frizz plus this one has a better motor :D

Silky tank top from Aritzia $35 it was only 10% off the original price.

This is the top that doesn't fit, I have a top that looks exactly the same and in a medium size the only difference is its pink. So I figured it was the exact same so I got this in a medium and didn't try it on.

SO SMALL!! WTF, ITS THE SAME BRAND TOO. Why would they fucking make it smaller? when it says on the tag that it says medium? wtf!!!

I'll have to lose like 15 pounds to fit in it >.<

I kind of wish I bought more clothes but I think I'll just order stuff online anyways instead of going to the damn store and usually I'll look online before I buy clothes anyways, I don't know why I'm so anti-social about it lol. I don't think most of this was on sale anyways LOL but I don't care I was going to buy all this stuff regardless anyways.

Before I go back up to Canada I still have to buy some shampoo and conditioner and probably a hair mask. I think I'll order a nice haul from Sasa soon :D I need to change up my routine.
