Procedural Final Sabbotage

So at my school we do a procedural final for my program. Basically its me + 3 instructors and my patient and I have to pretend nobody but my patient is there and I have to attempt a successful blood collection.

We had about 2 or so months to practice our blood collection techniques plus scenarios (for example: how do you collect blood on someone with a hearing impairment? or if the patient is in a wheel chair? coma? etc) lol but for our exam we had 3 things. For my procedural final I had a patient who was blind, in a wheel chair and has a fistula (a permanent infusion of a vein and artery used for dialysis)

I asked my good friend to come, since he did offer to come a long time ago but I got the feeling that he was trying to fuck me over. It was 3 weeks before the exam and I was getting a little nervous since I have never collected blood on him before. So I called him and he said he got 2 days off so I could practice on him. So I said that's great! I can practice.

I did not want to go into this procedural exam blind, if we got 1 critical step incorrect it would be an automatic fail if we had 2 non-critical steps incorrect then we would fail, so our instructor told us to practice practice practice on the person that we are bringing for our exam.

So fast forward to a week before our procedural exam. I called up my friend on the Wednesday and said to him "you coming to my class today?" he says "no I'm coming next Wednesday (the day before my exam) after 3PM so I'll probably be there at 5" I was like WTF because exams start on Wednesday at 5PM and the class is inaccessible at 4PM so they can set up for the exam so I would not get to practice at all if I used him because it'll take him over an hour to get to my school. Then he said to me "but I got Thursday off so you can use me for the exam just do it without practicing." >.<

That really pissed me off, I told him the exact dates that I needed him to be there and the time months in advance and I feel like he purposely set it up that way.

I was like FUCK IT, I'm not going to take the risk of failing so my classmate asked her mom if I could use her for the exam, which she did and I passed because I got to practice on her beforehand. The both of them are seriously the nicest people I've ever met, I hope she gets the student award cause I would nominate her in a heartbeat.

I told him that its not going to work out since I have to have practice before my exam, "oh ok, I have plans already anyway" he ended up going drinking with one of our mutual friends who's family is really wealthy and I know he butters her up a lot on purpose, which pissed me off even more, I guess I know who my true friends are.

Its not the first time he's fucked over friends for school either or me for that matter, more on that later.

Anyway, I'm so glad I passed that exam and I'm glad I didn't use my friend and I don't plan on helping him later. He told me he wants to apply to the same program as me and he expects me to keep all my books and notes for him, yeah fuck that shit. Why should I help him when it seems like he purposely tried to fuck me over on a critical exam?

*sigh* I need new friends lol.

January Updates

 Foggy school day

 Its been a while since I wrote a post >.< My bad! I've been super busy with school this semester. I've picked up way more classes than last semester so most of my time has been dedicated to that.

You know what's funny is that I'm taking a Computer Science class at school and one of the projects is to start your own blog LOL and I was like umm.. I don't want to say anything to the prof :P lol

I had my first exam on friday (24th) for psychology and I think I totally bombed that exam T_T SO HARD WTF!!!!!!!!

If you follow me on Instagram (probably not I don't have many followers :P) I've been spamming the shit out of this one photo for a raffle by Ravish Sands because I want Ashley to win a suit by them for an upcoming show she's doing lol. So, sorry about that! lol

I'm changing up my skincare routine this week since I'm pretty sure I've gotten the most use out of the products I have been using. Its gotten to the point where these products aren't really doing anything for my skin anymore. So its time for an update!

Lately Monet has been acting up and barking nonstop its super annoying and I know its pissing off everyone in the house. At times like this I wish they sent her back to Montreal >.< such a bratty dog.

I don't think I put up any New Year resolutions :P lol come to think of it I don't think I fulfilled any from last year LOL ... actually I don't remember what I put for last year lol

This year I want to:

- Learn to drive (lessons on Sunday!)
- Pass all my classes lol
- Lose some weight lol

Bazaam! That doesn't sound too hard.. start out small lol
